Here are a few links we've put together that we think you will find useful...
Ponies, Donkeys and cows roam free over the countryside, whilst deer can regularly be seen wandering in the more secluded areas of the forest, which is also home to a fantastic range of wild birds. Truly a wonderful place for lovers of the outdoors and animals alike.
Lyndhurst History
Lyndhurst is the capital of the New Forest.
The Court of Verderers sits in the Queens House in Lyndhurst. The Verderers are the guardians of the Commoners and their Rights of Common within the UK; they are also the watchdogs of the Forest landscape and may veto development and highways.
